Jacksonville-Wolfson Children’s Hospital

wolfsonFor the ninth consecutive year we provided huge bags of “goodies” for the children at Wolfson. 2015 was our biggest year yet with over 5,000 presents presented to 167 children. From the dialysis kidos to the NICUs and teenagers this year myriad smiles adorned the faces of the children as they awoke Christmas day. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel to all the businesses, individuals, groups, and leaders that graciously made this Christmas a truly special one for these children. Gainesville-UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital

shandsOf the six children’s hospitals we provided presents to this Christmas Shands was the largest with 180 children. On December 16th our volunteers loaded the First Baptist Church of Ocala van and headed to Gainesville. Approximately 2,000 gifts brightened the faces of these children this Christmas morning. Our eighth year of sharing the love of Jesus with these hurting children. Thanks to all of you who contributed and worked to make this a truly blessed year for these children and their families. Our partners included:

Chick-fil-A, Ocala Palms Worship Center, Waltons, BiLo, First Baptist Church, Community Bank and Trust of Florida, a very generous anonymous donor, and many generous individuals.

Orlando-Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital

arnoldpalmerOn Friday, December 18th, we loaded up our Christmas bags and headed to Orlando with a cargo of gifts for 144 NICUs at Arnold Palmer CH, which has the largest NICU facility in our country. That morning Carldon and the staff at Arnold Palmer put together the Christmas bags for the NICU babies. The parents would come in and pick out their bags which consisted of a snugly blanket, stuffed bear, and a first Christmas item. Many thanks to Karyn and Boo Weekley for their continued generous support at Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital.

Atlanta-Egleston and Scottish Rite

On Wednesday, December 9th, we loaded up approximately 2,000 presents and headed to the CHOA hospitals to deliver the treats to the children this Christmas day. 140 children at both Egleston and Scottish Rite CH woke up this Christmas day with a bundle of joy in these gifts. Many thanks to First Baptist Atlanta, AJ Donohue Foundation, Chatsworth neighborhood, and many individuals, businesses, and organizations that contributed to make our fifth year in Altanta another memorable Christmas in our Lord’s name.

Brunswick Children’s Hospital

brunswickThanks to our partners in Jacksonville for providing an abundance of gifts for the children in Brunswick GA. Several overflowing boxes of gifts were presented to the child life specialists on their visit to Wolfson on December 18th.
